The all-day workshop is open to teachers from the District, Maryland, and Virginia. It will provide real-life math applications, along with an abbreviated syllabus and website modules. It takes place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel at 266 Woodley Road, NW from 8:30 AM – 4 PM during the INFORMS annual meeting.
The luncheon speaker will be Dr. Evan Glazer, principal of the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Glazer is the former director of the Roanoke Valley Governor’s School for Science and Technology.
Registration for the workshop is only $25, and covers the whole day of activities, as well as take-away materials, meals, and snacks. Limited scholarships are available.
