Download, save, and display on your social media profiles or in your email signature.
Steps to add to your LinkedIn profile:
- Navigate to your profile page.
- Hit the button “Add Profile Section”
- Expand the “Additional” section.
- Select “Add honors & awards”
- Fill out the required fields, then at bottom of dialog box select “+ Add media” and select the Senior Member badge from where it’s saved.

- Complete your profile.
- Introduce yourself in the Welcome New Member thread on INFORMS Connect.
- Sign up for the next new member webinar.
- Access your subscriptions and set your new article alerts.
- Manage your email preferences and customize your privacy settings.
- Plan to attend an upcoming event.
- Review your member benefits.
- Get connected to your communities.
- Follow INFORMS on your favorite social media platform.
- Ask a question in the Open Forum.

Think about what needs, challenges, or goals brought you to INFORMS. When you chose to join, what did you hope you would get out of the experience?
To help you think through your own goals and priorities, download our goal-setting worksheet. It’s a good starting point. From there, you can seek out the resources and opportunities at INFORMS that help you take the next step toward your highest-priority goals.
New Member Webinar and Q&A
We offer 30-minute new member orientation webinars on the second Thursday of each month. There are three different versions of the webinar, geared toward students, academics, and industry professionals. You may register for any of them.
